Is public managed checkout open?

No. The beta path is request-based. Selected testers may receive server-side Managed Pro or Managed Max beta grants.

What are General, Work, and Code?

General is for conversation and grounded help. Work is for research, browser workflows, documents, and connected tools. Code is for scoped software development with implementation evidence and recovery.

Does Fae send project files to BYOK cloud models?

Not by default. Ambient local context is stripped from bring-your-own-key cloud requests unless local context is enabled for that provider.

Do I need a cloud model?

No. Fae supports local Ollama and llama.cpp providers. Optional BYOK and Fae-managed providers are available when configured and allowed.

Can Fae use my browser?

Yes, when enabled. Web search and browser control are separate capabilities, and browser actions have their own risk gates.

What platforms are supported?

Fae is Windows-first, with an Android companion. Other platforms may follow.
